Product Returns

At STRAȘNIC, we want every product to meet our customers’ expectations. Our products are made from solid wood, with careful attention to quality, functionality and detail.

Right of Withdrawal – 14 Calendar Days

In accordance with Government Emergency Ordinance No. 34/2014, as subsequently amended and supplemented, consumers have the right to withdraw from a distance contract, without giving any reason, within 14 calendar days of receiving the products.

In the case of an order containing multiple products delivered separately, the withdrawal period begins upon receipt of the last product.

To exercise the right of withdrawal, the customer must send an unequivocal statement of their decision to return the product to lemnstrasnic@gmail.com before the statutory deadline expires.

The request may include the customer’s name, order number and the product to be returned. The use of a standard withdrawal form is not mandatory.

Return Conditions

Products must be sent back within 14 calendar days of communicating the decision to withdraw.

We recommend packaging the products appropriately to protect them during transport. The original packaging is not mandatory.

The consumer is liable only for any diminished value of the products resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning.

The direct costs of returning the products are borne by the customer, except where the law requires the trader to bear these costs or the trader agrees to do so.

Refunds

When the right of withdrawal is exercised, STRAȘNIC refunds the amounts paid for the returned products, including the original standard delivery cost, in accordance with applicable law.

The refund will be made without undue delay and no later than 14 calendar days from the date on which the trader was informed of the decision to withdraw.

The trader may withhold the refund until the returned products have been received or until proof of their dispatch has been provided, whichever occurs first.

The refund will be made using the same payment method used for the original purchase, unless the consumer expressly agrees to a different method, at no additional cost.

Personalised Products or Products Made to Customer Specifications

In accordance with Article 16(c) of Government Emergency Ordinance No. 34/2014, products made to the consumer’s individual specifications or clearly personalised are exempt from the statutory right of withdrawal.

This exception does not automatically apply to handcrafted products or standard products available in the online store.

Legal Guarantee of Conformity

STRAȘNIC products are covered by the rights relating to the legal guarantee of conformity, in accordance with Government Emergency Ordinance No. 140/2021.

The seller is liable for any lack of conformity existing at the time of delivery and identified within two years, subject to the conditions established by law.

Where a lack of conformity is identified, the consumer is entitled to the remedies provided by law.

Rights relating to the legal guarantee of conformity are separate from the 14-day right of withdrawal.
