The contractual relationships between STRAȘNIC and consumers are governed by applicable Romanian and European legislation on e-commerce and consumer protection.
2. Products Offered for Sale
STRAȘNIC sells cutting boards, serving boards and other solid wood products.
Wood is a natural material, and each piece may have unique characteristics in its grain, texture and colour.
Product photographs aim to represent the products as accurately as possible. Natural variations in colour and texture may occur, without affecting consumers’ statutory rights regarding product conformity.
The essential characteristics, dimensions, materials and prices are presented on the individual product pages.
3. Prices and Payment Methods
Product prices are displayed on the website and include applicable taxes, in accordance with tax legislation.
Shipping costs and any additional charges are presented before the order is confirmed.
Available payment methods are indicated during checkout and on the “Payment Methods” page.
STRAȘNIC reserves the right to update product prices. Any changes will not affect orders already accepted at the confirmed price.
4. Placing and Confirming Orders
Products can be ordered through the online store www.strasnic.ro.
To place an order, the customer selects the desired products, provides the information required for delivery, chooses a payment method and confirms the order.
After the order has been registered, the customer may receive an automatic acknowledgement confirming its receipt.
The sales contract is considered concluded when STRAȘNIC sends confirmation of order acceptance on a durable medium.
If a product is no longer available, the customer will be informed and offered the available solutions, including a refund of any amounts paid, where applicable.
5. Product Delivery
Orders are delivered using the shipping methods available on the website.
Delivery times and costs are presented on the “Shipping and Returns” page and, where applicable, during checkout.
Unless another delivery period has been agreed with the consumer, delivery will take place within a maximum of 30 days from the conclusion of the contract, in accordance with applicable legislation.
In the event of delays, the customer will be informed, and their statutory rights will be respected.
6. Right of Withdrawal – 14 Calendar Days
In accordance with Government Emergency Ordinance No. 34/2014, as subsequently amended and supplemented, consumers have the right to withdraw from a distance contract without providing any reason within 14 calendar days of receiving the product.
For orders containing products delivered separately, the withdrawal period begins upon receipt of the last product.
To exercise the right of withdrawal, the consumer must communicate their decision through an unequivocal statement sent to:
Products must be returned within a maximum of 14 calendar days from the date on which the decision to withdraw was communicated.
The consumer bears the direct costs of returning the products if they were informed of these costs in advance, except where the law or the trader provides otherwise.
Amounts paid, including the original standard delivery cost, will be refunded within a maximum of 14 calendar days from the date on which the trader was informed of the withdrawal.
The trader may withhold the refund until the products have been received or until proof of their dispatch has been provided, whichever occurs first.
Refunds will be made using the same payment method originally used, unless expressly agreed otherwise, at no additional cost to the consumer.
The consumer is liable only for any diminished value of the products resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning.

7. Personalised Products
In accordance with Article 16(c) of Government Emergency Ordinance No. 34/2014, the statutory right of withdrawal does not apply to products made to the consumer’s individual specifications or clearly personalised.
This exception does not automatically apply to standard products or all handcrafted products.
Rights relating to the legal guarantee of conformity also remain applicable to personalised products.
8. Legal Guarantee of Conformity
Products sold by STRAȘNIC are covered by the legal guarantee of conformity, in accordance with Government Emergency Ordinance No. 140/2021.
The seller is liable for any lack of conformity existing at the time of delivery and identified within two years, subject to the conditions established by law.
Where a lack of conformity is identified, the consumer is entitled to the remedies provided by legislation, including repair or replacement of the product, a price reduction or termination of the contract, as applicable.
These rights are not limited by the store’s commercial terms and conditions.
9. Personal Data Protection
STRAȘNIC processes customers’ personal data in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and applicable national legislation.
The data necessary for processing orders may include the customer’s name, contact details, delivery address and information required for invoicing and compliance with legal obligations.
The Romanian Personal Identification Number (CNP) is not generally requested when placing orders and may only be processed where an appropriate legal basis exists.

10. Intellectual Property
The content of www.strasnic.ro, including texts, photographs, graphic elements and presentation materials for which STRAȘNIC holds the necessary rights, is protected by copyright and intellectual property legislation.
Unauthorised reproduction, distribution or commercial use of these materials is prohibited, except where permitted by law.
11. Customer Accounts and Security
Customers who choose to create an account are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials.
Any suspected unauthorised use of an account may be reported to the trader using the contact details displayed on the website.
This responsibility does not limit the trader’s legal obligations regarding the security and protection of personal data.
